app vs. wap: which is most important for mobile marketers?

thats the question of the day!!! i would like to know what does people think about that?

If you ask me, i think both things are very important, but for me have diferent uses!! if you are looking to give data to the consummer you will use wap. (for example, a lot of people today read the news via wap) but in the other hand, if you want to keep your consumer captive, give them an app… something useful for example the “tweeterberry”.
